The
search feature is very nice and very simple.
Search by last name of the couple or individual having
the baby, and also by first name. The example of
the babies 'r us registry finder is to the left. (Click
to visit the actual 'Baby Registry Search' function on
babiesrus.com). This will allow you to
find any registry in the system.
You
can also search by City, State, and filter by
first name. The other nice 'modern' feature:
the ability to search on email. We like this
feature: more and more you'll find people being
identified by their email address, so kudos to Amazon
for adding this feature.
You
can also search by registry number? I'm not sure
who actually uses this feature, but it is there! One issue we ran into: We
were notified by a local Babies"R"Us store that purchases
online don't always hit the reports inside the local
Babies R US stores reporting systems.
Thus, someone might buy one item online, but someone may
still view a report in the store showing the item is not
purchased. The delay seemed to be a day or two.
Don't know if this is still the case in 2005, but we'll
monitor.

What we Liked:
Very good for
short times when you need to hold the baby but be
hands-free. Suggest getting a BabyBjorn if you
need to shop a lot, do some minor housecleaning, or when
you are getting some walking time outside. It
gives the baby an interesting perspective and always
gets some cute gazes from onlookers. It is fun to
have a Baby Bjorn.

What we'd
Change:
It can be pretty
hard to get on and off your body when you first start
using the Baby Bjorn. And while not a fault of the
product, your baby is still quite heavy and it is not
easy to tote around! Previous versions of the Baby
Bjorn had a recall due to a weak strap, but this has
been resolved in the newest version.
